Gathered skirt project

A photo of a sewing machine taken side-on with some checked fabricA gathered skirt is a simple classic and a fabulous introduction to garment construction –Over two mornings we will make a skirt with a concealed zip, gathered onto a waistband which can be made time and again and can look very different depending on the fabric used and length of hem. You will learn how to measure, cut, insert concealed zips, and how to adapt the pattern for future use by altering length and fullness.

Class level – This class is specifically aimed at younger sewers from age 12 upwards, we will accommodate new seamstresses of any level
